Ok, so we still don't have power at my house which sucks. It is nice spending time with family, but it would be great to be able to go home and live normally. It is not very fun living out of a bag. I will have to say thanks to my sister. She did give Angela her own drawer in cousin Kamryn's room. I kinda get to go back to normal. I get to go back to school tomorrow. I never thought I would be so excited to go to school.
It is amazing who has power and who doesn't. I have friends in La Porte and that is where I go to church. I went down there today and the church has power and my friend Connie's house has power. Karen's house still does not have it though. It seems like more people have power down south than we do up here in the north part of town. I am being patient though and enjoying my time with the family.
It is cute to watch Angela and Kamryn. Kamryn is so lovable towards her. She walks around saying baby, unless she is saying mine. They will sit there just looking at each other and Kamryn will just let Angela grab her. It is so cute.
Angela has really started teething. Anything she can get her hands on is in her mouth and being chewed on. She tries to get ahold of everything. This morning I was not even thinking about it and I left a cup of coffee on the table in arms reach of her. It took her about 10 seconds to figure out she could reach it and knocked it over. It caused us to be late to church becasue of the mess I had to clean up. She is so adorable just laughing at everything, but if she is mad, you will know it. Last night Kamryn did not want to sleep and ended up waking up Angela. It took over an hour to get her back to sleep. It was a rough night for all of us.
Angela had her second photo shoot today. We went to the park and took pictures of the two of us together and her by herself. It is her 6 month pictures. I can't believe she is already 6 months, or she will be next Sunday. Time has gone by so fast.
Well, I think I have gone on enough. I am just not very good at keeping up with this, so I have to say a lot to catch up. I am still working on those pictures. I am going to try and do them tomorrow. Talk to everybody later.
Keep all those affected by Ike in your prayers.

Hurricane Ike
Well, we made it through, but still not back to normal. We lost power at my house around 2:30 am on Saturday morning and we still have not gotten it back. It was really hot and sticky, it sucked. My older sister has electricity back, so we are all over here. My mom doesn't have electricity or water, so she is over here to. It is very interesting having all of us in the same house for this long. Me and my sister got out of the house today and went shopping. We drove all over trying to find a store that had electricity and at the end ended up right back by her house, but it was nice to be out and about. The store was completely out of milk, anybody surprised, but while we were there they told us the truck had just gotten there, so we waited. Like 30 minutes later they checked on it just to find out it left. It had some kind of emergency and had to leave and didn't drop any milk off. It was such a tease. My sister needs the milk for my niece, so we have to go see if we can find some later.
As for everybody else:
My grandparents, Joy, and Ollie all went to Austin. They are headed back tomorrow to see what their place looks like. My grandparents live in Clearlake, so they had to leave. Joy and Ollie live in Texas City, they have no idea what their house looks like.
Both my uncles and their families are good, but don't have electricity.
My La Porte people. I was really worried about them. They had to leave and I could not get ahold of any of them from Friday night until Monday night. For those of you who know me, that was hard. My two best friend, one being Karen the other being Connie, both live there. I got ahold of Connie first and she said everything was fine, but had no electricity and are not allowed to go back yet. I then got ahold of Karen. Her house actually did not get as much damage as expected. She said her garage got a lot of water and she is going to have to replace most of the stuff in it and her house stinks, but other than that it is ok. She said the church got water in it, but that is it. They got lucky. I have not heard from Diane, so I don't know what her house looks like. She lives in Seabrook, right by Kemah, so I am hoping everything is Ok and she still has a house.
All in all we all got lucky. I am glad everybody is safe and made it through this. I have pictures, but have not downloaded them yet. I might have to wait til I get home and have electricity to do that. I will get them up as soon as I can.
Talk to all later.

Getting ready for Ike
Ok, so the storm is about to hit in less than 24 hours. I am a little nervous, of course Angela has no idea what is going on. She is still her happy little self. She smiled at everybody who talked to her of looked at her at the store yesterday and today. I love her so much. She sat by herself in the grocery cart for the first time today. No pictures because I didn't have my camera with me. It was not the top thing on my mind. I am totally planned to loose power, even though it is going to suck. I got food that doesn't need heated up, batteries, flashlights, candles, and finally some water today at Kroger. We are just sitting and waiting for it to hit and leave. It actually looks really nice here right now. The sun is shining, you would never know we are about to get hit with a severe hurricane in less than 24 hours. Further south looks bad already. It has already started flooding. Just wanted to get on here and let everybody know what was going on. We are safe and plan to stay that way. Hopefully all we get is a bunch of rain and wind and no elecrticity. I am hoping the water doesn't come into the house. I don't know when I will be on here again, so talk to you later.
Here are a couple of pics of Angela that I wanted to post before, but didn't have them downloaded yet. It will give you something to take your mind off of Ike.

OK, I got one and info on Angela

My mother made a comment today that I didn't have a blog like Amy and Jenny so nobody could keep up with Angela. Most of that is because I am not good at this. I don't really know what to say. I will try my best to keep everybody up to date on what is going on with Angela and how she is doing. I will even try and catch everybody up.
Angela is doing great. She has started sitting up by herself and rolling over. She can only go from her back to her stomach and then she gets mad because she has not figured out how to go the other way yet. Her first tooth is coming in and she is doing pretty good about it. Tonight was the first time she has really fussed about it and it wasn't for very long.
The picture above is the most recent one I have of the two of us. I need to download pictures onto the computer and I will be able to post some more. I even have one of her sitting by herself. That is about all for now. Later I will tell you some other stuff that has happened with us.
